About Me

My name is Randy Johnson. I am 28 years old. I live by the beach in Shallotte NC. I am married to a wonderful girl I met in college. I have been programming in CFML for almost two years now. Before CFML I developed in PHP for 6 years. A lot of people ask me which I like better. I always tell them CFML. It is a lot faster to develop in CFML. I have a passion for web programming. I like to think that I am an artist and the programming project is my masterpiece. I love the challenge of taking an idea and programming it into existence.

When I am not programming I like to go Kayaking, Swimming, Camping, and Fishing. What do I do on the computer when I am not programming? I like to open my Great News rss reader and read. I am an information junky. I also use the StumbleUpon Tool Bar. I like learning new things and searching for new cool ideas. I am currently studying for the Coldfusion Certification Exam. I plan to take the test in Fall '08. Wish me luck!
